Dream & Play

Dreams are extremely important. You can’t do it unless you imagine it.
—George Lucas

A career tip about playing might seem backwards, but it is intentional. When was the last time you pretended to be a dinosaur or a princess? Imaginative play is so easy for toddlers. They do not let anything stop their minds from creating the story they want.

If you allowed yourself to daydream about your career so you can play your way to your ultimate vision. If your vision feels too wild, then you are on the right track. Push the envelope as you daydream, play your way to a dream career.

1- Where do you have the easiest time letting your mind wander? The shower, the car, while running or doing yoga? Use that time all week to just let your mind wonder.

2- What did you notice about the dreams that answered 'what you wanted to be when you grow up?'

3- It's time to bring this dream to life. Share this with one friend to see what she thinks. (note: try a friend who is not in your inner circle but is objective!)
